Accomplishments

The Transparent Watercolor Society accepted "Let's Twist Again" into the 32nd annual National Exhibition. The show will be at the Bloomington Art Center, in Bloomington, Minnesota from May 16 - July 28, 2008.

Christine had a one person show at Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary for the month of January.

"The Lover's" became the poster for the Cape Coral Art Festival in Cape Coral, Florida 

"Glory Bound" received "Best of Show" at the Naples Renaissance Fall Art Festival.

The Visiting Artist Exhibit at the Harborview Gallery in Cape Coral featured Christine's art during the month of November.

"Feather Management" was awarded 3rd Place in Watercolor at the Shrimp Festival in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

"Sleeping Beauty" will be hanging in the Daytona Museum of Art until September 5, 2007 in the Florida Artists Group show. (Painting shown below in February 2007)

"Sleeping Beauty" won 1st Place in the Spring Juried Show at Fort Myer Beach Art Association. (The painting is shown below in February 2007)

"Sleeping Beauty" (shown right) won first place for florals in Watercolor Magic Magazine's 2007 Watermedia Showcase Competition.

"Making Ends Meet" won honorable mention for animals in Watercolor Magic Magazine's 2007 Watermedia Showcase Competition.

"No Fly Zone" was chosen to be the official poster for Naples National Art Festival. 

"Life's Balance" (shown left) was accepted into the 140th Annual American Watercolor Society Exhibition in New York and selected for their travel show.

"Pelican Flower" won first place at the Ft Myers Beach Art Association Winter Juried Show.

"Space Traveler" was accepted into the 45th Founder's Exhibition in Naples, FL.

"Sleeping Beauty" received The Patron Award at the Watercolor West 2006 Exhibition in California.

"Lover's Key" (shown right) was chosen by the editors of The Artist's Magazine to be featured in the upcoming 2007 Limited Edition Fine Art Wall Calendar.

"Partners for Life" was on the cover of Watercolor Magic magazine. An article about Christine and her work appeared on page 54 along with a closing article and painting on page 80.

One Person Show for four weeks at Starbucks in downtown Fort Myers, Florida

"Accentuate the Positive" was donated to be auctioned at an Art for Acts fundraiser by model/actress Lauren Hutton, in Fort Myers, Florida.

"n" Magazine, Naples, Florida wrote feature article about her artwork.

One Person Show at JN "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island, Florida from May through August 2006

Cover Artist for the SouthWest Florida Women's Digest - Summer 2006 issue.

"Air to Live" was selected by the Melbourne Art Festival to receive 2nd place in Watercolor.

"Pelican Flower" and "Nature's Balance" were featured in "Watercolor" Magazine Spring 2006 issue. Christine is one of the top ten finalists for 2006.

"Bud of the Passion Flower" was accepted into the Fifth Bienniel National Art Exhibit at the Visual Arts Center, Punta Gorda, Florida.

The Artists Magazine published a feature story about "At Peace".

Arts Edition LIVE at Florida Gulf Coast University - art auction participant.

Christine's artwork was included in a feature story in Bonita Living Magazine.

Christine's painting "Pelican Flower" was awarded 6th place in the 13th Annual North Light Cover Competition sponsored by North Light Books.

Arts Edition LIVE PBS television did a feature segment about Christine's art. The program aired on November 18, 2006

The new hospital in Venice, Florida purchased five paintings to hang in the common areas.

"Nature's Balance" was accepted into the Florida Watercolor Society's 2005 competition

Christine's painting "Pelican Flower" was selected for the National Watercolor Society 85th Annual Travel show, visiting galleries and museums across the country for one year. Christine was also accepted as a signature member of the National Watercolor Society.

Christine's donated painting "Tropical Sunbather" was auctioned in Fort Myers, Florida by actress Sharon Stone at Arts for Acts, a fundraiser for the women's abuse center.

"Nature's Balance" was accepted into the Florida Watercolor Society's annual competition.

The original painting "Sunset Flight" was purchased as a memorial to Marilyn Turner and is to be hung in the Virginia Piper Cancer Center n Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Christine's painting "Pelican Flower" was accepted into the National Watercolor Society of America competition.

Harborside Arena, Fort Myers, Florida featured Christine's art. The show runs through September 2005.

The painting "Things Seen and Heard" was selected for the cover of "The Southwest Florida Women's Digest."

Christine's painting "Life's Balance" was accepted into the Transparent Watercolor Society of America competition. The painting was given the "Chevy's Award."

A national competition by Watercolor Magic Magazine "Watermedia Showcase" awarded Christine's painting "Nest in Peace" an Honorable Mention award.

Thirty five of Christine's paintings were on display in a two month gallery show at Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Naples, Florida.

The Judge's Choice award was given to Christine's art at Marco Island Art show.

Christines's painting "Out on a Limb" received a Merit Award at the 4th Bienniel National Art Exhibit, Charlotte County Art Guild.

Christine's painting "Out on a Limb" received an Achievement Award in the Art League of Bonita Springs gallery exhibition.

The Charlotte County Art Guild selected Christine's painting "Out on a Limb", to be included in the National Exhibit 2004.

At the 2003 Biennial Conference of the Florida Association of American Pen Women Christine's painting "Living Color", won the Special President's Award.

Christine's painting "Swamp Ballet", received second place in the Art League of Bonita Springs gallery exhibition.

Christine's painting, "Some Like it Hot", received second place in the Art League of Bonita Springs gallery exhibition.

The watercolor work and life of Christine Reichow was featured in "Wildlife Art Magazine", a national publication.

Christine's painting, "Landing Pad" was on the cover of "Natural Awakenings" magazine.

Second Place, Sanibel Art Show.

The painting "Heading for a Squeeze" was accepted in the 43rd Annual Founders Juried Awards Exhibition, Von Liebig Art Center, Naples, Florida.

The painting "Sandhill Cranes" was featured on the cover of "Sunshine Artist" magazine. Christine was featured in "Under the Canopy With...". The article discussed her background and her work. A number of other paintings were also shown in the magazine.

Christine's painting, "Red Bellied Woodpecker" was on the cover of "Natural Awakenings" magazine.

Christine's painting "Great Blue Heron" was featured on the cover of "Fly Free", a publication of the "Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary".
