June 2008

"Pelican Flower" was published in North Light's new book, "Splash 10".

April 2008

The Transparent Watercolor Society accepted "Let's Twist Again" into the 32nd annual National Exhibition. The show will be at the Bloomington Art Center, in Bloomington, Minnesota from May 16 - July 28, 2008.

 

Watercolor USA accepted "Sleeping Beauty" into the national competitive exhibition sponsored by the Springfield Art Museum, Springfield, Missouri. The exhibit opens June 7th and closes August 3, 2008. (See painting below in February 2007 accomplishment)

January 2008

Christine had a one person show at Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary for the month of January.

 

"The Lover's" became the poster for the Cape Coral Art Festival in Cape Coral, Florida 

November 2007

"Glory Bound" received "Best of Show" at the Naples Renaissance Fall Art Festival.

 

The Visiting Artist Exhibit at the Harborview Gallery in Cape Coral featured Christine's art during the month of November.

October 2007

During the 2007 Federated Duck Stamp Contest hosted by the J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Christine donated her original painting "Banking At A Local Branch"for auction to raise funds for the refuge.

BONITA LIVING magazine published a feature story about Christine and her art.

June 2007

Christine received the Award For Excellence In Painting for her painting "Stretching Exercise" at the Boardwalk Art Festival in Virginia Beach, Virginia. (Shown at Right)

May 2007

"Feather Management" was awarded 3rd Place in Watercolor at the Shrimp Festival in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

 

"Sleeping Beauty" will be hanging in the Daytona Museum of Art until September 5, 2007 in the Florida Artists Group show. (Painting shown below in February 2007)

March 2007

"Sleeping Beauty" won 1st Place in the Spring Juried Show at Fort Myer Beach Art Association. (The painting is shown below in February 2007)

February 2007

Sleeping Beauty

"Sleeping Beauty" (shown right) won first place for florals in Watercolor Magic Magazine's 2007 Watermedia Showcase Competition.

 

"Making Ends Meet" won honorable mention for animals in Watercolor Magic Magazine's 2007 Watermedia Showcase Competition.

 

"No Fly Zone" was chosen to be the official poster for Naples National Art Festival.

Life's Balance

"Life's Balance" (shown left) was accepted into the 140th Annual American Watercolor Society Exhibition in New York and selected for their travel show.

Lover's Key

"Sleeping Beauty" received The Patron Award at the Watercolor West 2006 Exhibition in California.

 

"Lover's Key" (shown right) was chosen by the editors of The Artist's Magazine to be featured in the upcoming 2007 Limited Edition Fine Art Wall Calendar.

 

"Partners for Life" was on the cover of Watercolor Magic magazine. An article about Christine and her work appeared on page 54 along with a closing article and painting on page 80.

Christine's painting "Pelican Flower" was selected for the National Watercolor Society 85th Annual Travel show, visiting galleries and museums across the country for one year. Christine was also accepted as a signature member of the National Watercolor Society.

Christine's donated painting "Tropical Sunbather" was auctioned in Fort Myers, Florida by actress Sharon Stone at Arts for Acts, a fundraiser for the women's abuse center.

"Nature's Balance" was accepted into the Florida Watercolor Society's annual competition.

The original painting "Sunset Flight" was purchased as a memorial to Marilyn Turner and is to be hung in the Virginia Piper Cancer Center n Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Christine's painting, "Red Bellied Woodpecker" was on the cover of "Natural Awakenings" magazine.

November 2001

Christine's painting "Great Blue Heron" was featured on the cover of "Fly Free", a publication of the "Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary".
